Italian Food



Cucina Italiana?

Yes! 

Tutte le cucine sono buone, quella Italiana è apprezzata nel mondo. 
E' giusto, quindi, farla conoscere.....a tutti.


We start the day on a sweet note with a sweet fluffy, stuffed with a soft and delicious cream
For the base:
300 grams of flour 00,
180 grams of sugar,
4 eggs,
120 ml of sunflower oil,
100 ml of milk,
1 packet of baking powder,
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract,
1 pinch of salt,
grated rind of 1 lemon,
the juice of 1/2 lemon.
For the cream:
500 ml of milk,
120 grams of sugar,
60 grams of flour 00,
grated rind of 1 lemon,
the juice of 1/2 lemon,
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract,
1 egg.


Prepare the cream whisking together all ingredients with an electric mixer. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over low heat stirring constantly until you have a fairly thick cream. Let cool and set aside.
Prepare the base by mounting the eggs with the sugar. Add the grated rind, lemon juice and vanilla. Pour in the oil while continuing to whisk. Add the milk and stir a few more minutes. Sift flour with baking powder and add it to the rest of stirring well until completely absorbed. Grease and flour a cake mold of 26 cm and pour the mixture;
with a spoon, pour the cream over the entire compound of the base.
Put in the oven (preheated oven) for about 45 minutes.
Let cool then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
